Hands on both technical and managerial role with focus on delivering designs as per brief. Reporting to Design Director and regional manager (t.b.c). Autonomous role in Shanghai office
A/ Responsibilities:
- day to day running of the design office
- o/a design co-ordination
- drawings submission and production releases, including final checking
- allocation of tasks and priorities to design team
- monitor progress and report
- design drafting / design automation as required
- tender take offs, material schedules - initiating & checking
- IT management (set up external contact / links with IT support to setup server and networking, FTP server, overseas data transfer etc.)

C/ Prerequisites:
- well presented, enthusiastic & career focused
- exceptional work ethic and positive attitude
- min. 5 years' experience in facade field and glazing design
- excellent working knowledge of AutoCad, including AutoCad 3d design
- working knowledge of 3d modeling packages (or previous exposure & good understanding of 3d modeling)
- Graduate Diploma from recognized University in China or equivalent overseas University
- good written and English speaking communication skills
- exceptional interpersonal skills and people skills
- exposure to facade / glazing fabrication process or direct involvement in the process
- ability to travel within China and Overseas (monthly business travel may be required)
- CV / Resume in English & Mandarin, including up-to-date photo
