Job summary:

This position is responsible for management and implementation of software
development activities at one development site. Under limited supervision, the Lead is
responsible for establishing a highly effective and efficient software development team. The
Lead is the primary responsible for maintaining the core competencies of the development
staff, and the enforcement of the quality procedures regarding software development. The
Lead also works with Project Team Leads to ensure the quality and timeliness of the project
deliverables.
Scope: Direct/indirect responsibility for 3+ employees.

Note: Candidate with rich experience will be offered as Team Lead, or without experience but full of potentiality will be offered as Senior Developer initially, then promoted to Team Lead rely on performance.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Participate as member of the Shanghai IT R&D management team.
- Establish effective and positive working relationships with other functions within the R&D
organization and related external departments.
- Responsible for the overall quality of the architecture and design and coding software
applications and components.
- Help establish and maintain local development processes, procedures, work instructions
according to global IT R&D guidelines and local needs.
- Manage day-to-day activities and ensure that the team is running at optimal capacity and
efficiency.
- Communicate openly and frequently to the team about business goals and ives. Act as
the voice of the team to upper management.
- Lead by example and help build a culture of professionalism, responsibility and initiative.
